How Many Sugar Defender Drops a Day? The Label's Answer
How many Sugar Defender drops a day? The label prints no drop count. It says adults take 1 mL a day, or as a healthcare professional directs, and one full dropper is about 1 mL. Take one dose a day and do not double it. One bottle then lasts about 60 days.

The dose01
How many Sugar Defender drops a day should an adult take?
An adult takes 1 mL of Sugar Defender once a day. That is the whole instruction on the bottle.
The label does not count drops. A "drop" is a loose unit. The number of drops in a milliliter changes with the dropper tip and the thickness of the liquid. Measuring by volume avoids that guesswork.
So the working answer is one full dropper, filled to about 1 mL, taken once. "Or as directed by a healthcare professional" means only a clinician can change that amount for you.
1 mL
The label serving, about one full dropper.
Once a day
One serving in 24 hours, no top-up.
60 servings
A 60 mL bottle gives about two months.
The measure02
Why does the label say mL and not drops?
The label says mL because Supplement Facts is built on a serving size, and this serving size is 1 mL.
The panel lists the amounts per serving, and the herbal blend totals 200 mg in that single milliliter. If you counted drops and got it wrong, you would change every line at once.
Our Sugar Defender supplement facts page types out each line. Below is the panel itself, with its numbered spots.

- Serving
Serving Size: 1 ml. Servings Per Container: 60.
- Chromium, 0.7 mcg
The only printed amount: 2% of the 35 mcg Daily Value.
- Blend total
200 mg shared by 22 ingredients, listed from most to least by weight.
- Maca first
Maca is listed first, so it is the largest share. Each later line can hold at most 200/k mg.
- Amino acids
Eight amino acids sit in the bottom half of the list, the smallest shares.
- DV note
'Daily Value (DV) not established' for the blend.
- Other ingredients
Deionized water, organic citrus extract, natural flavors, stevia and xylitol. Xylitol is dangerous to dogs.
The limit03
What happens if you take more than the daily Sugar Defender amount?
No study says what happens at a higher amount, because the drops have not been tested. The label says "Use only as directed."
Taking extra is tempting when a result feels slow. It does not help here. A bigger dose of an untested blend only adds unknowns.
The risks come from the parts. Guarana and green tea add caffeine with no amount printed. FDA cites 400 mg a day as an amount not generally linked to harm for most healthy adults (FDA, Caffeine: how much is too much?), and a double dose adds caffeine from an unknown source on top of coffee or tea.
Chromium and some herbs may add to the effect of diabetes medicine and cause lows (NIH ODS, Chromium). Signs include shaking, sweating, hunger and confusion.
- Stick to one dose a day
- Stop and call a clinician if you feel unwell
- Call poison control if a child or pet swallows the bottle
Do not change any prescribed medicine because of how many drops you take. Ask your doctor first.
The supply04
How long does a bottle last at one dose a day?
At one dose a day, a bottle of Sugar Defender lasts about 60 days. The 60 mL bottle holds 60 servings.
Mark the start date on the box or in your phone. It is the easiest way to see whether your measuring matches the label.
The order page counts 30 days a bottle instead, which would mean 2 mL a day. We do not suggest that pace. If you find yourself running out in a month, check how much you are measuring before you reorder.
| Label dose | 1 mL, once a day |
|---|---|
| Days from one bottle | About 60 |
| Drop count printed | None |
| Higher dose tested | No |

FAQ05
Daily amount questions
How many drops are in 1 mL of Sugar Defender?
The label does not say, and the count varies with the dropper and the liquid. That is why the label gives volume. Fill the dropper to about 1 mL and take that once a day.
Can children take a smaller number of Sugar Defender drops?
No. The label says it is not intended for persons under 18, and it must be kept out of reach of children. Do not give a smaller amount to a child.
Is one dropper of Sugar Defender always exactly 1 mL?
Only about. The brand calls one full dropper roughly 1 mL. For a precise check, draw 1 mL into an oral syringe and see where the dropper line lands, then use that mark each day.
Should I take fewer than one Sugar Defender dose a day?
The label does not list a smaller dose. A healthcare professional can direct a different amount. If you feel jittery or unwell on one dose, stop and ask a clinician before continuing.
