Sugar Defender 24 Ingredients List vs the 23 on the Label

Quick answer

The Sugar Defender 24 ingredients list does not exist on the label. The sales page says "24 proven ingredients" but names only 8, while the bottle label shows 23 lines: chromium plus 22 blend ingredients. Count the label, not the headline. None of the ingredients is proven at these doses.

Is there a Sugar Defender 24 ingredients list?

No list of 24 is printed on the bottle. The sales page uses the words "24 proven ingredients," and the bottle itself shows 23 lines.

The product name carries a 24 in the web address of the order page, which may be where the number comes from. The seller has not explained it.

When two sources disagree, the label wins. It is the legal statement of what is in the bottle.

Why do 24, 8 and 23 all appear for Sugar Defender?

Each number counts something different. The sales page counts a claim, the page body names a few stars, and the label counts every line.

The 23 comes from chromium (1) plus a 22-ingredient herbal blend. Add the five other ingredients, and the full list grows to 28 items.

One path to 24 is our own arithmetic: the 22 blend lines plus the two sweeteners, stevia and xylitol. We do not know that the seller counted this way, and a sweetener is not a proven active.

Which 8 ingredients does the sales page actually name?

It names chromium, coleus, African mango, guarana, gymnema, ginseng, eleuthero and maca. Each gets a short benefit line.

The other 15 label lines get no mention, among them green tea, grape seed and eight amino acids. A reader has to check the label to find them.

The blend is listed from most to least by weight. Maca comes first, but the order says nothing about the amounts, which stay hidden (21 CFR 101.36 (eCFR)).

From the Supplement Facts panel on the label. Places 1-22 are the blend, in order from most to least by weight (21 CFR 101.36 (eCFR)). Other ingredients (deionized water, citrus extract, natural flavors, stevia, xylitol) are left out of the count.

Are the 24 ingredients proven?

No. No trial has tested the finished product, and NCCIH says that for most supplements there is no evidence of a benefit for diabetes (NCCIH, Diabetes and Dietary Supplements).

The doses are the sticking point. Chromium shows 0.7 mcg against 200 to 1,000 mcg in studies (NIH ODS, Chromium). Gymnema is capped near 25 mg by label order, against 200 to 400 mg in studies (Drugs.com, Gymnema monograph).

"Proven" is a word that needs a study of the product at its doses. Here that study does not exist.

Keep taking prescribed medicine

A headline count does not replace care. Keep taking any medicine your doctor prescribed.

How can I check the ingredient count on my own bottle?

Count the lines under the Supplement Facts heading, then the words after "Other ingredients." That takes two minutes.

  1. Count the nutrient lines

You should find chromium, then one blend heading with 200 mg.

  2. Count the blend items

Commas separate them. You should reach 22.

  3. Read the last line

Five other ingredients should follow, ending with xylitol.

If your bottle differs, contact the order desk and keep the lot line. Our Sugar Defender ingredients guide walks each line.

FAQ01

Ingredient count questions

How many ingredients does Sugar Defender really have?

The label shows 23 lines, which are chromium and 22 blend ingredients. Five other ingredients, including water and sweeteners, are listed after that. No count on the bottle reaches 24.

Why does the Sugar Defender sales page say 24 ingredients?

The page does not explain. It calls them "24 proven ingredients" and names 8. The 24 may be a marketing figure; the label is the better guide.

Which Sugar Defender ingredients are not mentioned on the sales page?

Green tea, grape seed, grapefruit seed, raspberry ketones, capsicum, astragalus and the amino acids are among those the sales page skips. All of them appear on the label.

Is the 24 in sugardefender24 the ingredient count?

We cannot confirm it. The order page address contains 24, but the seller does not say what it stands for. Do not treat it as an ingredient total.
