Sugar Defender 24: What the '24' Means (and the 23 Lines)
Sugar Defender 24 is not a separate product that we could find. The "24" matches the sales web address, sugardefender24.com, and a sales line about "24 proven ingredients". The label itself lists 23 lines: chromium plus a 22-ingredient blend. We found no bottle named 24.

What does the 24 in Sugar Defender 24 mean?
The 24 is a web address and a sales number, not a model name. We found no product called Sugar Defender 24 on the label or the order page.
The sales site is sugardefender24.com, and the order page we checked sits there (Sugar Defender sales and order pages). People searching for "Sugar Defender 24" most likely saw that address in an ad or a link.
The second source of the number is a sales sub-headline. It says the formula is an "advanced blend of 24 proven ingredients". We quote it, and we do not repeat it as fact.
How many ingredients are in Sugar Defender: 24 or 23?
Twenty-three. The Supplement Facts panel lists chromium and 22 blend ingredients, and the sales page names only 8.
The label is the official count. A line is anything printed on its own, so you can check by eye on the panel pictured above. Counting conventions explain a small gap, but none reaches 24 here.
Some pages add the sweeteners, the water or the citrus extract to reach a bigger number. Those sit under "Other ingredients" on the label. They are not part of the 200 mg blend, and they are not what a buyer means by a formula.
| Source | Count |
|---|---|
| Sales sub-headline | "24 proven ingredients" |
| Ingredients the sales page names | 8 |
| Label: chromium line | 1 |
| Label: herbal blend lines | 22 |
| Label total | 23 |
Are the 24 ingredients really proven?
No. None of them is proven at the doses a 1 mL serving can hold, and no trial tested the formula.
The blend totals 200 mg for all 22 lines, and the amounts are hidden, which the rules allow (21 CFR 101.36 (eCFR)). An even split is about 9 mg each. The list runs from most to least, so gymnema in eighth place holds at most 25 mg.
The word "proven" is a sales word. We keep it inside quotation marks for that reason. A claim that every line is proven would need a human trial for every line. We found none for the product and only partial studies for a few single plants, mostly at larger doses (NIH ODS, Chromium). For each plant, see the Sugar Defender ingredients page.
Is Sugar Defender 24 a different formula or a look-alike?
A bottle sold as "Sugar Defender 24" should still carry the same label. If it does not, treat it as a different product.
The label should show a distributor line for sugardefender.com in Aurora, Colorado, plus a 60 mL bottle and a 1 mL daily dose. Copy-cat sellers borrow brand names and ad images.
A made-up version number is an easy trick. It makes an old formula sound new, or a standard one sound upgraded. When you meet a name that is not on the bottle you hold, ask the label's distributor whether it exists before you pay.
Match the label
Look for "Blood Sugar Support Formula" and the 23 lines.
Match the seller
Use the brand's order page, not a link in a social ad (FTC, Fake celebrity endorsements).
Match the claims
Walk away from any page that promises a diabetes fix. No supplement is one.
Whatever the bottle is called, do not stop or change a prescribed medicine because of it.
FAQ01
Sugar Defender 24: quick questions
Is Sugar Defender 24 stronger than the regular bottle?
We found no such product. The order page sells one formula in 60 mL bottles at 1 mL a day. A bottle claiming to be a stronger 24 version is not described on the label we checked.
Why is the Sugar Defender website called sugardefender24?
The reason is not published. The 24 may be a marketing choice, since the sales line also says "24 proven ingredients". The label's own distributor site is sugardefender.com, with no 24.
Which 8 ingredients does the Sugar Defender sales page name?
The page names chromium, coleus, African mango, guarana, gymnema, ginseng, eleuthero and maca. Those are 8 of the 23 label lines. The other lines include green tea, amino acids and a licorice compound.
Does Sugar Defender 24 contain 24 ingredients?
No. The label lists chromium plus a blend of 22 ingredients, which makes 23 lines. Sweeteners and flavors under other ingredients are not counted as actives.
